Guidance for Growing was in the Souderton Independent on Friday, March 4, 2011. The article appeared online in March, as well.
With the new spring season creeping up on us, Mikaela wrote the Healthy Bites column about spring cleaning health habits. This month’s column offers “healthy bites” to get you working on a fit body, planning for fresh foods, and finding a peaceful mind, so that you can enjoy a fresh and clean springtime start. The column, which appeared with the headline, “Simple spring cleaning steps for your mind and body,” reminds us that the impending new season is a great time to assess new-season plans and start spring cleaning your health habits. Living your best life happens one step at a time. In a sea of too much, and often conflicting health information, Healthy Bites provides the simple, specific information and guidance you need to make a small, baby step – or, a “healthy bite” – toward a healthier and happier life. The column appears on newsstands and here, in the Guidance for Growing blog, the first week of each month. Ongoing community conversation about the column’s topics also appear here, in blog; see the Healthy Bites tag to the left.
