Cholesterol and Fat workshop

Do you feel powerless against your cholesterol scores, or confused about what HDL, LDL and triglycerides mean? Are you avoiding oil, eggs, butter, or other fat-containing items for fear that it will cause your cholesterol to skyrocket? Do you feel destined to have high cholesterol because everyone in your family has it?

If you have answered “yes” to any of these questions, be sure to sign up for the Cholesterol and Fat Workshop, part of the Live Well group series presented by Mikaela of Guidance for Growing and Dr. Stefanie Coforio of Chiropractic Wellness Center.

Using current literature, the workshop will help you understand what cholesterol is, why it is important in your body, and what you can do to keep your levels under control. Take home some healthy recipe ideas and understand fat’s role in cardiovascular disease and other chronic diseases. Learn the background knowledge to start to separate fact from fiction when trying to navigate the sea of information on cholesterol and make better diet and lifestyle choices!

The workshop will be held at the Guidance for Growing office, 121 North Main Street, Souderton (in the Village Centre Office Suites) on October 27 from 7-8pm. Space is limited; registration and materials fee required by October 25. Cost is only $10/person or $15/pair. Newsletter and Facebook subscribers receive 50% off!

Register below (Paylpal account needed) or by contacting us at info@guidanceforgrowing.com or (215) 421-1634.
